"Unforgettable" WJNA -- 640

(June 12, 2005) ... Why has WJNA's web site (wjna.com) been down so many months -- and with hardly any program info even before that?

We don't know but here's some enjoyable reading about WJNA and its personalities -- to read as you listen:

Pictures from the WJNA St. Patrick's Day Bash at PalmAire include Don Agony, Greg Budell, Joyce Kaufman, Sean Toner, and Chuck Zink -- all with funny captions

The folks at James Crystal desperately need websites that work and that have some worthwhile information about their programming. (And, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, put a note in the WJNA announcer's stocking saying he always sounds like he's talking down to an audience of morons. Here's the drill...)

Dec 2003 Radio News

Good Morning, WJNA! -- Or, What's This About a Mike Reineri / Mo&Sally / Dave McBride / Greg Budell / Don Agony 'Happy Good Morning Wake-Up Show' Anyway? is newsman Dave McBride's explanation of the WJNA morning show's confusing history.

On a more serious note, read Dec 2004 Radio News and May 2005 Radio News to find out what happened to Greg Budell and Dave McBride, respectively. (Budell's in Alabama now.)

WJNO, WBZT, and WJNA: Why Do These Stations Keep Switching Frequencies? is a fascinating explanation by Alan Diskin, host of the nostalgia show Radio Rewound.
